In this short article, I want to give you 100% clarity regarding this problem, so you can finally cure you’re tendonitis pain forever. (Even if it’s ‘chronic’) Yes that’s right, there’s a tendonitis treatment even for so called chronic diagnosis.
In doesn’t matter if you have tendonitis in you’re knee, wrist, shoulder, elbow, achilles, carpals or wherever else, it makes no difference – so I’ve learned over the years. Treatment for tendonitis follows similar concepts no matter the area, although the principles are the same, there are some tweaks you may need to make regarding the tendonitis treatment depending on the area.
To successfully rid yourself on this problem, you need a solution that will ultimately achieve one or both of 2 goals. It must eliminate the inflammation and/or it must regenerate a ‘spongy’ and strong tendon. (As the tendon has degeneration.)
Unfortunately 99% of so called ‘treatment’s out there do not solve the 2 problems above, in fact in most cases they weaken the tendons and cause chronic tendonitis.
Here’s the Popular tendonitis treatment advice from doctors and ‘professionals’…
1. Rest – How many times have you been told to simply rest and you’re pain will simply disappear in time? I know my therapist used to tell me this was the ULTIMATE solution to tendonitis.
Now I know better when it comes to tendonitis treatment.
2. Braces & other useless gadgets you wear on the affected area – This is simply a temporary solution that over time will weaken your tendons. Are you going to wear a brace over you’re wrist, or elbow for the rest of you’re life? Didn’t think so.
3. Corticosteroid Shots – Amazingly effective… for short amounts of time. Getting shots in you’re affected area will surely provide pain relief temporarily. However there are 2 problems. Firstly, it’s another quick fix, and secondly being that these shots will destroy your tendons in the long run. Don’t even consider it…
4. Surgery – Let’s not even go there…
5. Anti – inflammatory drugs – These sprays and creams, again provide TEMPORARY relief but weaken the tendon and do nothing for you at the end of the day.
6. Ultra sound, Exercise, Chiropractic adjustments, hot and cold treatment ETC. – Well all I can say is… try these things out yourself and see if they work. HINT: They don’t!
They KEY to finally eliminating tendonitis (and finding the treatment for tendonitis that works for you) in any area of you’re body is effective specific exercises and creating the correct environment within you’re body. If you’re serious about handling this problem and you understand that the solutions I listed above will only get you so far, then go and read a book called ‘Free From Tendonitis Pain’ by Anne West, Ph.D.

Additional Tendonitis Treatment Resources:
Although it is debateable, I have found that a semi-permanent strategy for assisting with tendonitis is balancing muscle. I believe that many people develop tendonitis because they have weak muscles surrounding their tendons. This is especially true when their is a muscle imbalance. See you’re fitness professional and ask them for the best exercises for strenthening the muscles around the affected tendon.
Another good strategy that helps relieve tendonitis temporarily is proper stretching. Keep in mind this is not the anwser and will not cure you’re tendonitis, however it is a good habit to get into.
